| This is the
main building of the IIT Kharagpur. It houses few departments like Electrical Engineering,
Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Applied Geology etc. and almost the whole of the
administration. It also houses the
Central Library, Asia's one of the largest technical library! |

We
are sitting on the main entrance of the main building. The group comprises KB (Koushik),
Dadu (Debasish), SMM (Shuvro), Halu (Abhijit), yours truly and Tintin (Nitin).
We were the inmates of B - Top - West
wing of the Azad Hall of Residence. |
| This old
building used to be the infamous Hijli jail. And it is here the institute started its
operation. Now the building houses administrative cells and the big Nehru Museum.This snap
was taken during the festival of light, Dipawali. |
